How long have you been working with Innovync?
Just under two years.
Tell me a little about your role and what it involves?
As a Service Technician, I respond to any machine breakdowns/troubleshooting, carry out installations and also provide remote support to customers. I also provide ongoing day to day support to customers – basically anything to do with the service side of things!
What’s your favourite part of your job?
My favourite part of my job would have to be seeing how the machines we install transform the businesses of our customers. Providing a reliable fully automated and customised solution to each customers individual needs means that their overall productivity suddenly goes through the roof.
It’s gratifying seeing how our machinery is changing someone’s business and I love seeing the positive impact.
You specialise in Woodtron machinery, are there any exciting developments or innovations on the horizon?
Woodtron has just released another machine (the Woodtron Cube) that is a vertical board storage system. It’s an automated storage system that holds multiple packs of board and individually picks the required sheet as production requires, saving valuable storage space and speeding up production. It’s an exciting innovation!
The machine only came out this year and already we are seeing a lot of interest in the industry. We have supplied and intergrated several complete systems which include multiple CNC’s and Auto Labellers all working together to provide a fully automated high production solution.
Tell me a bit about what you like to do in your spare time?
In my downtime I like to head into the great outdoors. I spend quite a lot of time fishing and I love camping.
Last but not least, what’s your favourite…
Band: AC/DC
Food: Mexican
Movie: The Castle
Woodtron Machine: The Woodtron Cube
