About Kitchens

John Toms, co-owner of Canberra-based joinery About Kitchens, knew there was something special about Innovync from the very first time he met them in 2011.

“We were looking into CNC technology, and got a referral from another business colleague to have a look at the Woodtron machines,” Mr Toms recalled.

“Very shortly after we got in touch with Innovync, their sales team made the effort to travel from Sydney to Canberra to personally meet us and assess our needs.

“The standard was set that day – and Innovync have lived up to it ever since.

“When you call Innovync for after-sales service, you speak to someone senior within an hour and they make the effort – not excuses – to ensure your needs are met.

“On one occasion they even flew a technician from Melbourne to Canberra, because they know how much it means to our business to stay in production.”

Since purchasing their first Woodtron machine, About Kitchens has grown its headcount from 7 to 30 and has the ability to embrace a “wide variance” of work.

“There’s no chance whatsoever that our business would have grown this quickly, if not for the Woodtron machines,” Mr Toms said.
